Let’s paint a brighter future!

The ELEPHANT PARADE is a charity project that originated in Thailand. The project holds exhibitions each year, with the aim of drawing worldwide attention to the fate of the highly endangered Asian elephants. The first parade was organised in Rotterdam in 2007 and then in 2013, the organisers also visited our neighbourhood - Trier and Luxembourg. Since its inception, there have been 30 parades. The exhibits are modelled after baby elephants and are designed solely for this event by renowned artists and personalities. Colourful and cheerful.

In keeping with their previous anniversary "100 years of Knie elephants", the Knie circus family is now bringing the international travelling exhibition, the ELEPHANT PARADE to Switzerland and is starting the "Swiss Tour" in the town of Rapperswil on Lake Zurich.

From mid-June, some 60 elephant sculptures will adorn the cityscape for several weeks in an open-air exhibition. The sale of the beautiful sculptures is intended to raise funds for aid projects in Asia that support elephants. We have also been given the opportunity to design our own ETHENEA elephant, which is part of this year's touring exhibition.
