Illia Galka worked as a translator for English, German, Ukrainian and Russian in Ukraine for six years after graduating from the Donetsk National University in Ukraine with a degree in translation. In parallel with his career in linguistics, Illia earned a Master’s degree in International Economics from the National Economic University of Kyiv and passed all three CFA® exams on the first attempt. He then obtained a Master of Science in Investment Management from Bayes Business School (formerly Cass) in London.
Illia joined the portfolio management team of ETHENEA Independent Investors S.A. in November 2022 and supports the analysis of capital markets, generation of investment ideas and their implementation within multi-asset portfolios.
